New beach resort project - 2025 underway
TYPE: BEACH CLUB
LOCATION: MUNICIPALITY OF FINALE LIGURE (IM) - VARIGOTTI
CLIENT: ELENA SRL
YEAR: 2025
VOLUME: 285.00 MC
Project Description The project aims to redevelop an area of outstanding landscape and tourist-accommodation value, currently characterized by elements in environmental disarray: a lightweight masonry base, a sand embankment with wooden bulkheads and concrete slabs, gazebos and prefabricated kiosks for the bar and restaurant, and masonry restrooms. The proposal involves the complete removal of the concrete base, restoring the beach to its natural state. New Structure Features Structure on Piles: Constructed with larch poles with a diameter of 30–50 cm and 16 x 24 cm wooden beams, it is raised 120 cm above the current floor level, ensuring safety even in the event of storm surges. The new floor level will be lower than the existing forecourt of the adjacent building (restaurant area). The changing room area will be lowered by approximately 64 cm and also built on stilts. The structure will be completely removable and non-permanent, made of glulam and X-Lam. Accessibility and Usability: The entire facility will be wheelchair accessible. The expansion will improve access and usability of the restaurant area. Spatial Organization: Interior: The restaurant and bar are closed, with approximately 120 seats and an increase in staff compared to the current situation. Exterior: Lockable porch protected by a frameless windbreak, which can also be used during the winter months to ensure continuity of tourist and sun therapy services. Panoramic terrace: Small shelter used as a beach bar, equipped with solar panels. Environmental integration: The structure will be located below the public viewing points along Via Aurelia and more than 10 meters from the adjacent building. All systems, including lighting, will be built to code and designed to enhance the site's natural and landscape features. Access: The entrance area from Via Aurelia will be renovated, with the ramp widened and steps removed, to ensure easy access for those with disabilities. This new configuration will create environmental order, improve tourist usability, and ensure a modern, functional structure that respects the natural setting.
